Secondly there are certain kinds of milk which come from free-range cows, I.E. allowed to roam wherever and not stuck in 10 x 10 stalls their whole life, hoever this can get more expensive.
And yes, vegetarianism is a lot healthier than most meat eating because of harmful things that can be found in meat, just make sure your getting the right amount of protein and other vitamins commonly found in meat because otherwise you will get incredibly malnourished and have to eat lots of vitamins and get lots of shots and go to the doctors all the time and that is no fun. Though, given your healthy obsession I have no doubt that you will.
