For anyone who might be reading this and has never been blessed with a pet and who feels like a dog is "just an animal", please do not bother reading this. I respect your opinion but I do not need any criticism right now. To me, my pets are a part of my family

Jen, I'm so sorry. We had to put my first dog, Sam, to sleep when I was 7, and my mom printed out "Rainbow Bridge" and taped it to my wall for me. I think of him almost every day, still. I never understood people who thought that dogs were just pets.

I hope you'll be okay, and you (and Wrigley) are in my thoughts.

I just wanted to say "thank you" for your kind words, Jazzy. Not going to lie, but I (and the rest of my family) am/are really not doing very well. We know that we did what was best and that Wrigley is in peace now, but we just miss him so much. Either way, I really appreciate your sweet words and support.
