Well, here I am and its mid sembreak. It's really sad that in a couple of days our glorious freedom will be over and it's back to the boring monotonous pattern of school randomnly interrupted with brief periods of insanity. >_< It's a sad yet necessary reality.
Anyway, the reason for the lack of update is because I've been busy. Thursday, I had friends over and I had to entertain them lest they get bored and decide to rummage through my closet and berate me for my lack of what they call fashionable clothes. I don't really see the problem with jeans, t-shirt and slippers. I do not need to frolic around like a LOTR reject giggling uncontrolably. (Not that there is anything wrong with LOTR. Im just confused as to why people make such a big fuss over the weird... billowy... shirt thing...) No thanks.
Friday, I golfed a bit. Actually I went to the driving range because I havent finished all my golf lessons. I got my grip back and some of the control I had behind my shot. Yay. :D Saturday, I golfed again then I went to visit my lolo in the cemetary. My dad had the grave cleaned and the grass trimmed while my brother and I explored the other graves. Some of them were unique but most looked exactly alike. One was pyramid like (only two sides of the pyramid had names, dad says those are bone crypts) and others had uniquely colored stones like peach or... this maroon color. We played with my dads SLR then we went home. Sunday... we celebrated my tito's birthday. We ate chinese.
Then we went to my other tito's house for dessert. There I discovered one of my new favorite desserts. God I LOVE tiramisu. Its so awesome. The best part is that it tastes like dark chocolate :D There was also a peanut butter and oreo (I think) cheese cake that was totally awesome. And there was this other cake that was covered in chocolate stuff... I don't know what it was but hell was it good. I ate a slice of all three but sadly I wasn't able to eat the banapple pie. (I think that's what it's called) My relatives said it tastes good. I'll just wait till the next family thing. Hopefully someone will bring again and we can munch on it. OH. My cousin Dani is the cutest ever :D She was running around and dancing~ SO ADORABLE :D I want to pinch her but she'll cry and that would suck. >_<
Monday, uh... I can't remember what we did so let's just skip that. Tuesday, I played tennis. My mom played also for a while. She's good, I swear. Most of the time, it's like she hasn't stopped playing at all. And yes, it has been a long time since she last played. Thanks to golf, I am slowly losing the will to play. I really only play just so I have exercise. That's it. Mom knows it too. So I hit for about 30 minutes and my mom takes over.... wait. Other way around. She plays first then I do. We share a racket (mine) so we can't actually play together. I feel bad for the coach a bit. My mom is a tenacious player. Badminton had made her really fast. (Actually she was fast already... >_>) My brother and I golfed again. We ate in Villamor (another golf course) located in a military base. Most golf courses are in military areas because next to badminton and basketball, it's what soldiers do to pass the time away. The food was great and the course was beautiful. I want to play there some day. Dad said the course was long but oh well. It's pretty enough. :D
Dad also taught me about 'Umbrella Girls'. Apparently, they are paid P300 per golf game to hold umbrellas over the players. Most of them are young pretty girls who wear long sleeved shirts and gloves on both hands. They do that so as to not get dark. Dad said.... it's also common for the golfers to make them their ah, girlfriends and stuff. Which is kinda nasty seeing as how most golfers are middle aged men or older. D: No offence to any umbrella girls out there but that sounds pretty odd to me. REALLY odd. D: Except that little thing, I like the place (Im sure there are Umbrella girls at every golf course D:')
My dad also got me a new driver, the War Bird which is a pretty good club. I used to play with the siopao (I'm not kidding, that's what they call the driver with a really big head) but dad said that I shoudn't. That club was popular was popular because it was forgiving (more room for error I think) so I changed to the Maruman. I hit that for two days (and the ball flew really well) before changing to the War Bird. That club is awesome. The balls fly really well and it seems to have a better swing. I play with mens clubs so that when I play with women's clubs (which are lighter) I will have a stronger shot.
Wednesday, we golfed again and went to my lola Carmens house. we ate dinner there with my tito and titas. I say tito because my other tito and his family spent Holloween in Tagaytay. They were supposed to drop by but my cousin Jay got high fever. They said it's because his immunity became weaker because he was dieting. I told him too much dieting would just hurt him. GAAAH. He's already really skinny. He has no need to diet. D: He became conscious about his 'figure' after watching 300. I thought it was just a weird urge to buff up (and he was) but it became dieting and stuff and well... yeah. I was supposed to kick him too because he managed to surprise me during the lunch thing last sunday. I'll settle for kicking him because of the diet thing. D:
Anyway, today I played tennis along with my mom. I played for 30 min then I had to leave because I had golf in an hour and a half. My mom played before me but she extended another 30 minutes. I thought she would be home soon but when we were leaving for the driving range, my mom still wasn't home. That was like an hour later. Raffy and I hit again today, and can I just say that my swing was just beautiful. Sure, I need to fine tune it more but I swing better now and even my Tito Raffy (who came by) said so. Dad says that he's going to register me and raffy in the Junior Golfers something. I think he wants us to compete. He says I can be the next Michelle Wi and Raffy the next... someone. I forgot. Apparently, they're pro golfers and Michelle Wi (I asked my mom) is fourteen. Jesus Christ. That's alot to take in. Dad says to relax but I think he wants us to rank or something. I think I have more potential in this then I do in tennis so I can try to compete. I suppose. I hope. D:
Besides that... we went to the mall and shopped. I got some golf outfits, raffy got jeans, mom get tennis shoes, dad his stuff and lola and lola had their stuff. I'm trying to convince my mom to get my and my brother seperate PSP consoles. It'll be hard to share that especially between me and my brother. We are both game freaks. Anyway, I need to finish this bio homework. I've procrastinated for so long already. So until next time. :D
Haha. Stole this from Sam :D
