I don't think that letting your emotions sway your every action is a good thing but emotions are important. They let us show that we care, or that we love or we're worried.

I'm inclined to agree. Numbed emotions are too... distancing for me.

I did, though it was significantly different from last time. And I'm a little glad the tree has a sense of humor, even if it's crude at best.

I have to agree, I prefer being in my own body. As for someone who's too emotional versus someone without any emotions... I don't think one is really better than the other.

That's a question I occasionally ask myself. It depends on what's needed at the time, I assume. Being sympathetic is seen as a good trait, though there are times when people wish to cut off emotion and feeling all together.

It has been my experiences that those with a void of emotional responses generally are as such for a reason... though many times are unsure as to what that reason is.

And... I don't believe shutting down emotions is of benefit to anyone.
