Sadly, due to my repeated courses of steroids I am not eligible to be a bone marrow donor.
I also have a friend in Michigan who has been through this and is 2 years into remission and doing great. I'm going to ask for her permission to share her contact info with leah should she want to talk to someone who has actually been through the process and can talk to her about it.
My media stuff is at the office (4 east Ohio Street) with me for pickup any time. I also have a CD of my fairly extensive e-book collection which I could easily move to thumb drive for transport - there are a variety of readers available.
And as I mentioned to Randy, I work about 5 blocks from the hospital. He requested that I wait a bit on the visits, since she feels like crap and I'm not the most restful of guests. :) But I am nearby and available if she wants or needs anything.
Thank you for everything you are doing for them - and please let me know if there is anything I can help with.

Another good option is either LiveStream or UStream, if you want video with a chat window. Only one way on the vid though.
