Haha. So this past weekend was a great one for Denver sports. The Colorado Avalanche NHL hockey team (sort of like the Carolina Hurricanes, only better) are in the playoffs. They are playing evwhore's San Jose Sharks. The Sharks are a vastly superior team, with the top seed in the Western Conference, while the Avalanche are young and inexperienced and barely made it into the playoffs as the 8 seed. But, their goalie is has played phenomenally well, especially last night. He stopped 51 shots on goal for an overtime shutout (the Avalanche won on a fluke goal in the first minute of overtime). To put it in perspective, good goalies generally have about a .92-.93 save percentage, so generally a good goalie would give up about 4 goals on 50 shots
