So just how bad is World Cup officiating?

I mean, the US scored 4 goals in three games and had *two* disallowed goals that were bad offsides calls. Really, is it that hard that you take away a *third* of the goals with bad calls? Mix in France even getting into the WC with their handball and it's kind of amazing.

It's worse than college football because these are nation-nations instead of sschool nations.
