Weekend is boring was fun hanging out w/ xaoswolf and Strifechick for a few beers last night. I've got an interview at Traco in Cranberry @ 11 AM Tuesday. And I got Approved for $478 a week in Unemployment. Which will help the hunt.
Also the house here is quite lonely when no one else is around :( -

I found out today, I am not the newest Pittsburgh Penguins Systems Administrator. They liked me, but I am no mid to senior level administrator. I had the feeling that they liked me and if there was 2 openings I'd have been in.

Interviewed 2 times, the first a face to face interview @ exco, it went well, in my opinion. The in the afternoon I had a phone interview for a systems admin position for the Pittsburgh Penguins, it went well too but I feel a bit under qualified for it. We'll see how they felt though.
Now to wait and pick up Jess

Job Hunting
Job hunting is going pretty well. Had a phone interview today w/ EXCO, have a real interview tomorrow at 9 AM for a helpdesk position. Following that I have a phone interview with the Pittsburgh Penguins at 2 PM for a Sys Admin position. -

I figured out my password policy issue, the policy need assigned to the container off the Domain controller, not to the user container, or the PC's container!
Now to continue to research group policies, and create accounts for some people, as well as a random guest account for guests that I don't feel the explicit need to create accounts for. -

I'm doing the one day. Job thing right now, software installs, not as fun as it sounds ;)

Blizzard Weirdness
I went to log into my battle.net account on Sunday, and was prompted for a authenticator code, I've not even used the account since it these device had become available. I contacted Blizzard's support via email, and got my account reactivated, but it seems someone was playing WoW on it, and possibly bought a copy of Wrath of the Lich King on it, ( Read more... ) -

I got scammed a while back at work into getting a "free" toner(mistake) that was then billed to us at between $150 and $250. I got a call either earlier this ( Read more... )
