Ass Kick for Motivation

Well, after having a conversation with Josh about future endeavors, I've finally decided to get up off my ass and do something about my policing. I've gathered up all the necessary applications for three different police forces. Ontario Provincial Police, Hamilton, and Peel. However, I also decided to get applications for Auxiliary with the O.P.P.

*nods* Good for you. In some previous post, or maybe in person, you had mentioned that you weren't applying for any police jobs because you didn't think you'd get in; and it's been tickling the back of my brain since then - thinking that I should mention that the only way to be absolutely certain that you WON'T get in is to NOT apply; and that even if you apply when you don't have all of the credentials, at least you might through that process meet up with someone who can tell you what you need to do before applying again, or can tell you when would be a good time to apply. Not to mention, someone may recognize your name when it comes around again - and that, if nothing else, tells them that you're serious about wanting this position, to have tried a second (or third) time after being rejected once before. So, you've got little to lose by applying and everything to lose by NOT applying.

So, I'm glad to see that someone else managed to get you moving on that again. Good luck!
