Before I begin I'd just like to say that I'm not saying this to discriminate or be a bitch in any way but it's just something that I feel needs to be addressed before anything discrepancies arise.

IMPORTANT! ALL MEMBERS OF GUNNERGIRLS, PLEASE READ!

Recently I've noticed that a lot of the members of gunnergirls are not actually Arsenal fans or support ( Read more... )

*applauds you*

people who complain about "us disrespecting their team" on this community must be blind, they're in GUNNERgirls for pete's sake? They should know that we can say what we want, and of course will always be Arsenal biased, because, well this is an ARSENAL community.

thanks for being a great mod. :D

Very well said. It's kind of sad in a way that it was necesarry to make this statement.

Ditto to everyone else. If people have been making comments like that...well, this is an Arsenal community. Where would we be if we couldn't slag off Spurs? (And Chelsea, Bolton, Blackburn, Man U, etc...)

if people are going to watch football and get in a fuss about light joking fun rivalry comments they need to rethink what the fuck they're doing pretending to be football fans.

I just read this post, and didn't find it bitchy at all. In fact, I appreciate your explaining your position so clearly, and it actually inspired me to join this community.

The Gooners are my #1 club. I won't watch a BPL match unless the Gooners are playing--partly out of loyalty to the club, and partly because I'm a sucker for "beautiful football."

I'm Italian-American, so I also have a favorite Serie A club: AS Roma. And I've always admired Barcelona. I also admire a few players from other clubs. But if any of these clubs should play the Gooners, I will root for the Gooners every time. (Also, if my current favorite Gooner--Mathieu Flamini--ends up leaving the club at the end of this season--and I sure hope he doesn't--I will remain a Gooners fan.)

The only other thing I'll say is that I'm very glad I found this community.
