It's a fork, Rufus, not a bullet hole. Or a series of bullet holes. Get a little putty and fill it in, if it's really going to bother you.

You do have the items, then. Wonderful. I'm sure you'll be happy to know I made some progress with the non-mako-enhanced weaponry while I was waiting.

I'm sorry. You're right. That must have been so annoying.

I don't like sitting around idle. I end up making things like fork-launchers. Though that does tie into the progress I made: I've almost got un-enhanced projectiles moving at speed. Aim is still a matter of luck, but... [The grin is audible in her voice as she trails off enticingly.]

Walking the halls of the Shinra House, preparing for what could be a long shift of duty, Elena's speed slows as she passes by Rufus' door. For a moment she's curious, eyes scanning the note, then moving to the fork that holds it firmly in place. Oh...my...

Its hard, but she doesn't laugh at first. No, she gets about halfway down the hall, lips failing miserably at holding back the corners of her mouth from forming an amused smile, when she finally is able to give off a short chuckle. Scarlet may be a pain in the ass, but she had her moments. And this one - yes, this one would go on record as one of Scarlet's more amusing ones.
