I wish to check if another has passed into death's realm. He dresses in white, and is blond haired, blue-eyed. A young boy, barely out of his youth.
In addition, this issue of property of those that died before... would you care to elaborate on what that entails? It is not easy to own a living person.

As far as I'm aware, there are none bearing that description. I do apologise.
... Of course. Effectively, I claim ownership via a marking on their body. That marking claims ownership of their power, allowing me to drain in minute degrees the amount of energy I require from them to sustain myself. Via that energy, I can gain strength enough to pay them back with any requests they may have. It forms a symbiotic relationship, in effect.
Unlike the other Magisters, you see, I'm disadvantaged. I'm weak. I'm not usually like this and it's really quite unpleasant to admit to it, but in the state I woke up in, I was fit to do very little. Something had to be done to speed up the recovery process, and so I struck a deal with the Ice Magister.
The more people I have to wear my mark, the less I have to drain each individual's energy, and the less time it will also take before I'm strong enough to rebuild my energy alone. Do you follow me?

Not yet. Seems like the more time goes by, the less likely we are to find him. We were watching him, I still don't know how he managed to disappear without a trace...
...
I'll work on it, but I haven't had much luck in choosing allies so far.

I see. And after you regain your power, what then? What are your objectives?

[A pause. Apparently Rude means business, seeing as this is probably the most he's said to anyone in one go in some time.]
This is getting ridiculous, Bossman.

But I wasn't aware of any possibility of leaving the city.
