Wow! I have so been in your shoes... just thankfully my friend and his psycho were not my roommates. Lets see... that was 10 years ago now... He finally got a divorce last year. And kicked her ass out of his place when she was staying there after having nowhere else to stay and falling asleep drunk in her daughters room. So yeah... fun times ahead.

I've managed to dodge the roommate issue. She will, thankfully, not be moving in with us or even be living in the same city. I'm hoping my friend doesn't get stuck in the position you described (ie. taking it up the ass).
