i've read the first one (totally great) and i want to read the other two!

i'm about to start jose saramago's BLINDNESS. as soon as i'm done with these books for work, bleh!!

oh god i loved blindness...it took me a little while to get used to his writing style, all those loooongass sentences and lack of paragraph breaks. i found i needed to set aside larger chunks of time to read it -- couldn't just pick it up on the subway. but i also have the attention span of a puppy.

I love Marjane Satrapi's one shots but I don't own any hehe. Just borrowed. Lemme know if you've read anything awesome lately. All I've been reading are manuals & design books.

wait you WANT cookbook recommendations or you've been READING a ton? in any case, one of my favorite cookbooks for italian food is Marcela Hazan's Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking. oh gawd.
