I'll tell you what's linked with child hyperactivity and behaviour problems. 1) the little buggers no longer get a damn good hiding when they're asking for one (but very often do when they're not) but get constant streams of verbal abuse whatever they're doing. Way to teach a child manners and respect...
2) they sit on their arses in front of playstations/x-boxes/tvs etc etc all the time instead of being turfed outside to burn it off falling out of trees, drowning, getting allergic reactions to plants they tried to hide in/eat/wear and chopping bits of themselves off on the local flora and fauna like we did.
Don't blame the blue smarties for the crap parenting of today's parent-generation!!!
