I woke up early to walk with Sparrow around the nearby park pond. I saw 10 different bird species on our walk. Sparrow discreetly paid attention to the delights of the lawn by the pond as the greyhounds who dislike him passed by. Later, when an owner had her dog in "sit" position to avoid any contretemps, Sparrow responded well to my "leave it"

Now, that's my kind of holiday. It sounds perfect.

I haven't been through a drive-thru bank in ages! I don't know if my bank, a credit union, even has one.

I really like drive-through banks with Saturday hours. Of course, I prefer a bank simply being open until Noon on Saturday. But that is not the way of the world for many banks in my area..
