Summary: Sungmin gets addicted to starcraft.

Sungmin didn’t intend on getting addicted to Starcraft, he was just curious. He wanted to know what was so interesting about the game that it had Super Junior’s magnae completely glued to the computer screen whenever he was home, and oblivious to whatever was around him. That of course included Sungmin.

The first time he played, Kyuhyun was in China. Sungmin found this a safe time to try the game, for one Kyuhyun was in China and probably had no clue that Sungmin had gone through his things to find the game (Sungmin let out a sigh of relief when he did. For a while he thought he’d taken the CD to China with him.) And for another, Sungmin wouldn’t have to worry about the gamer telling him off for playing bad or calling him a noob, or anything else of the sorts.

At first, Sungmin found the game extremely boring. The story was slow and whenever he sent out his troops to defend against the enemy Zergs, he’d end up dying.

“Aish! What the hell!” The singer glared at the screen in front of him when it once again reverted back to the Game Over screen.

The pink loving man closed his laptop and walked out of his room.  “Stupid game.” He muttered,  “Why does he like it better than me again?”

He couldn’t sleep.  His mind kept going back to the Starcraft world.

He kept wondering where he went wrong.  Maybe he didn’t have enough troops. Maybe it was the level of the wepons. Suddenly he shot up in his bed. “That’s it! That’s where I went wrong!”

Sungmin grabbed his laptop off his desk again. Regardless to say, he didn’t get any sleep until later that night.

“Sungmin!” Yesung practically flew through Sungmin's bedroom door. Sungmin didn’t look up from the screen.

“Sungmin!” Yesung called again. Sungmin turned his head towards the voice and uttered a small ‘hmm?’ all the while keeping his eyes on the screen.

“Aish, what are you doing anyways, cooped up in your room all day? It’s so dark in here.” Yesung flipped the light switch beside the door.

Sungmin hissed at the sudden brightness of the room. “Dammit! Hyung! What do you want? Can’t you see I’m playing?!”  Yesung jumped at the younger’s sudden fury.

“Teukie-hyung wants you to come to dinner.”

“not hungry.”  Sungmin stated bluntly, eyes once again trained on the computer screen.

“Sungmin…”  Yesung looked concerned towards his dongseng.

Sungmin sighed and looked Yesung in the eyes this time. “Really, I’m not hungry, I’ll eat later okay.”

“Fine. Teukie-hyung won’t like it though.” Yesung shot the smaller man one last look before leaving the room.

“Damn it!” Sungmin squealed as the screen of his laptop blacked out. “NO! NO NO NO NO NO!!!” He screamed, franticly turning his head from side to side, like a child throwing a tantrum.

“What?! What happened?!” Leeteuk demanded dramatically, practically tearing down the door of Sungmin and Kyuhyun’s shared bedroom in his effort to open it.  He sighed in relief, not seeing any evident harm to his pink loving baby. “What happened, Sungminnie?” He asked again, much calmer.

“Teukie-hyung!” Sungmin scrambled off his bed to where the older man was standing and clutched him by the front of his shirt. His voice suddenly took a darker tone. “Teukie-hyung… It died.” He finished solemnly.

“What?” Leeteuk looked at the man clutching on to him like he’d grown a second head.

“It died.”

“What died?” The voice this time belonged to Eunhyuk, who stood in the doorway with a curious look in his eyes. He looked a Leeteuk, who shrugged, still confused, then a Sungmin whose head hung low near the leader’s chest.

“My laptop died.” Sungmin sniffed looking up at the dancer with a sad face.

And sure enough, the computer was dead, if it’s staying blank when Eunhyuk tried booting it was any indication.

“Well it’s nothing to cry over Sungminnie.” Leeteuk cooed to the younger member, stroking his hair.

“Yea, you could get it fixed, you know.” Eunhyuk said in a matter-of-fact way.

“But-but I didn’t get to save!” Sungmin wailed loudly, letting go of his leader’s shirt and throwing his arms around him dramatically instead. Leeteuk, startled by the outburst fell backwards onto Sungmin's bed.

“Save what…?” The oldest said, slightly dazed. The distressed member snapped his head up to look Leeteuk in the eyes.

“My game of course!”

“Wait, what game?” Eunhyuk asked slightly frightened by the slightly hysterical man draped over the leader.

Sungmin suddenly stood up, turning on the youngest there. “Starcraft, duh! What other game is played in this place.” He said with a quick roll of his eyes.

“Oookay…” Eunhyuk was a little more than afraid of his hyung’s sudden mood swings.

“So that’s what you’ve been doing this entire time?!” Leeteuk suddenly shouted at the new gamer. “God Sungmin! Its bad enough I have to take care of Kyuhyun when he’s here! I don’t have the patients to force feed the both of you! No more gaming!”

“B-but Hyung!”

“No buts! Go eat! How long has it been since you’ve eaten…?” Leeteuk dragged Sungmin off, leaving a confused Eunhyuk in the room to figure things out by himself.

Sungmin's laptop was still broken by the time Super Junior M had come home. The man felt deprived. And it didn’t help that he roomed with the group’s number one gamer and had to watch said gamer play the very game every day.

He really wanted to play.

Now, as most people would think, the smart thing to do would be to just ask to use the other’s computer, but then Kyuhyun would ask questions, and most probably stick around to make sure you don’t do any damage to the computer (he lover the item very much like that.) and there was now way Sungmin could tell Kyuhyun that he suddenly enjoys playing the game that he, not only resented for years, but has also ridiculed and called ‘worthless’.

Kyuhyun wouldn’t let him live it down. He wouldn’t.

So Sungmin went days without Starcraft, completely and utterly bored. In order to entertain himself, even if it was only a little, he reverted back to his pre-Starcraft self.

He watched Kyuhyun play from his bed, “Kyu~ Pay attention to meeeeee!!!”

But of course there was no response.

When Sungmin got home from his schedule one day, he noticed quite a few things. One, Kyuhyun wasn’t in their room. Two, Kyuhyun’s laptop was left open on his desk across the room. Three, the Starcraft title page was conveniently flashing on the screen of the laptop. And four, Kyuhyun was not in their room.

Sungmin squealed happily to himself at the opportunity.  But he had to work fast! He wouldn’t have time to make any detailed changes but he’d be able to check up on things at least!

Sungmin shut the door quickly before hurrying over to Kyuhyun’s desk and logging in.

Checking his troops and inventory had turned into battle testing which quickly turned into going into battles.

“Hyung. What are you doing?”

Sungmin froze. “Dammit.” He turned around to face Kyuhyun. “Um, it’s not what you think!” he shouted standing to block the screen from the magnae’s view. But of course he forgot that the audio was still on. Kyuhyun grinned an evil little grin.

Sungmin's heart pounded as he heard the battle noise, he could tell he was getting annihilated.

Kyuhyun still grinned as he watched the older fidget. “Hyung. It sounds like you’re losing~” He sniggered.

Sungmin glared at the younger man. “Well, I wouldn’t be losing if you’d just let me play!”

“Who’s stopping you from playing?” Kyuhyun shot back.

“You are!”

“I never said you couldn’t.”

“But you will,” Sungmin said quiet suddenly. “You’ll stick around to watch me play, and then you’ll criticize my every move and you’ll tell me I’m not worthy of playing this most awesome, awesomest game EVER! And then I’ll never get to play ever again ever ever EVER!!” Sungmin's voice rose with every word.

Kyuhyun was stunned by the elder’s words, barely processing everything that he had said, just because it was said so damn quick. And that’s when Sungmin made a run for it. With his dongseng laptop, of course. He needed to find a place where he could hide and play. Quick.

He heard Kyuhyun call him as he turned towards the laundry room. Not only did it have a lock, but he could probably fit himself in the small space between the washer and dryer, and no one would know he’s there!

“Hyung!” Kyuhyun caught Sungmin by the arm, the other almost dropping the laptop in his arms, “Hyung calm down!”

Sungmin stopped struggling and looked up at the magnae with tears in his eyes. Kyuhyun blushed at the look. “Y-you can use the laptop.”

The shorter man gasped at Kyuhyun. “Really?” The taller nodded. “A-and you’re not gonna laugh at me when I play, right?”

“Of course not.”

The older singer beamed at the taller man and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. “Thank you, Kyu!” And then he pranced off, laptop still in hand.

Kyuhyun watched his hyung playing from his bed. He was so damn bored. He couldn’t even play Starcraft on his computer because that’s what Sungmin was currently doing.

“Sungminnie-hyung, I’m bored!” Kyuhyun whined only to be shushed by the very man he was seeking attention from.

Kyuhyun suddenly felt dejected. Funny, was this how everyone else felt when he was the one playing…? Naw, he wasn’t that heartless.

Rolling onto his stomach he tried again.

“MINNIE~ Pay attention to me!!!!”

But of course there was no response.
