Summary: Donghae thinks Kibum looks good in glasses.
When Kibum was younger- at least, when they were still trainees- he had horrible eyesight. Donghae never really minded that, he got to see Kibum were cute glasses everyday- he hardly wore contacts back then. But Kibum looked good in glasses, you couldn’t deny it.
After their debut in Super Junior, Kibum started wearing contacts more frequently and Donghae saw less and less of Kibum’s glasses. In fact, the only time Kibum wore glasses was when the coordinator noona’s would tell him to, to make his outfit stand out more.
He remembers how ecstatic he was during the filming of the attack in the pin-up boys because the sight of Kibum wearing those dark rimmed glasses was too adorable. He’d have to stop himself from squealing over the younger boy. Filming the first few scenes were disastrous, he gave the crew a hard time, he knew he did, he just couldn’t help it!
Kibum hardly wore glasses anymore- they’d fixed his eyesight with surgery after it was confirmed that he’d focus on acting. It kind of depressed Donghae. He missed the sight of Kibum in glasses. He doesn’t get the chance to pull the spectacles off of the younger boys face when he falls asleep, and he never get’s to push them up back up to the bridge of his nose when the younger boy is immersed in a book and doesn’t notice them slipping off.
Donghae was window shopping with Eunhyuk one day when the item caught his eye. Eunhyuk doesn’t understand why he needs to buy something that has no use to him, but Donghae merely smiles and fiddles with the newly purchased item in his hands.
“Kibummie!” Kibum is startled when Donghae flung himself at him after he’d stepped into the dorms for the first time after weeks- not that he shouldn’t have expected it. “Close your eyes, Kibummie!” Donghae instructed excitedly.
Kibum raised his eyebrow quizzically but did as he was told. He felt something cold brush against the sides of his face and opened his eyes, startled. He was met with Donghae’s fondly smiling face.
The older man squealed at the sight of Kibum wearing the white rimmed zero-power glasses he’d bought the other day.
“You look good in glasses, Kibummie! You should wear them more often!” Donghae exclaimed, kissing the younger boy on the cheek and dragging him off.
