[Part 1][Part 2] [Part 3] [Part 4] [Part 5]

“Hyung!” Kyuhyun pushed his foot lightly against the body lying under the tree. “You’ll get sick if you sleep here! Get up!”

Sungmin mumbled incoherent words under his breath and looked up at the younger boy. He was dressed in school uniform, his bag slung sloppily over one shoulder. “Let me sleep Kyu!” He whines softly, “I let you sleep when you’re tired!”

Kyuhyun rolled his eyes at the other’s childish behavior and plopped himself onto the grass beside him. Sungmin wasted no time crawling to the younger boy and cradling himself into his lap.

Kyuhyun idly played with Sungmin's dark hair, running his fingers through the soft mess in a force of habit. Sungmin purred at the feeling of Kyuhyun’s soft fingers and snuggled further into Kyuhyun’s warm lap.

“You’re here before me, hyung.”  Kyuhyun stated softly.

“I don’t have school in the afternoon today.” The older boy mumbles back, just as quiet.

Kyuhyun let out an “Ah” in understanding before letting the comfortable silence envelope them again.

He watched Sungmin's sleeping face affectionately, memorizing every curve and dip in his features. Not that he had to; he’d already memorized everything about the older boy. His giddy laugh, the way he smiles when they went window shopping and sees something he really likes. Even the way he seems to hop out of his seat when he’s exited rather than get up like a normal person would.

Kyuhyun finds it a bit scary that he knows Sungmin so well. He considers Sungmin a friend, yea, but he also considered Kim Kibum, a classmate since the beginning of Junior High, a friend. He didn’t know nearly as much about Kibum- he didn’t think it was necessary to know that much. Why was it different with Sungmin?

“Are you okay, Kyu?” Kyuhyun snapped out of his daze when he felt Sungmin's finger’s on his face.

“What?”

“You seemed all spaced out.” Sungmin told him.

“Oh. I’m fine.”

Kyuhyun suddenly grinned at the older boy in his lap. “I’m graduating next week, hyung!”

Sungmin smiled up at him. “I know.”

“You better come see me!”

The older boy laughed at Kyuhyun’s sudden ferocity. “You have to give me a ticket you know?”

“I will! So you better come!”

Sungmin smiled at Kyuhyun from his seat in the audience beside Ahra. “You know, this is the first time I’ve seen Kyu in a suit.” He told her with a pout on his face.

Kyuhyun’s sister laughed at his expression, stating, “It’s not that big of a deal oppa. It’s just a suit.”

Sungmin looks back up onto the stage as Kyuhyun received his certificate. “Oh, but still…”

Ahra laughed again when Sungmin fidgets in his seat like a child who’s not given a toy he really wants. “You’re such a girl oppa! No wonder Kyuhyun calla you Noona all the time.”

The older boy blushed and decided that it’s better to watch the rest of the ceremony in silence.

“Congratulations Kyuhyun~” Sungmin announced happily before thrusting a bouquet of white roses into the other boy’s hands.

“I just graduated junior high, are you supposed to give me roses, hyung?”

“Shut up and except them.” Sungmin said bluntly glaring slightly at the younger boy. “What are you gonna do now?”

Kyuhyun looked at Sungmin then to the horde of students crowded around them.

“You know,” he started, looking at his hyung once again. “We’re supposed to go to some sort of ‘end of the year’ dance.” Kyuhyun cringed at the idea.

“Oh…” Sungmin's voice sounded depressed, although he hid it with a bright smile. “Well, have fun!”

Sungmin turned to leave but the younger boy grabbed him by the elbow. “Where are you going?”

“Home…?”

“You can’t leave me here!”

Sungmin turned his torso to the other boy. “But aren’t you going to the dance?”

The younger boy snorted. “And die of boredom?” Kyuhyun’s eyes softened and his hand slipped from Sungmin's elbow to his hand. “I’d rather spend my time with you.”

Sungmin smiled brightly. “Aww~ Kyu! I love you too~!”

The younger blushed, but tugged Sungmin away anyways.

“How come you get to go home but I don’t?” The older of the two asked grudgingly when they reached the front of Kyuhyun’s house.

“I want to change first. Then we can go somewhere fun.”

“Well I want to change too!”

“You can wear some of my stuff.” Kyuhyun stated, entering his house. Sungmin followed close behind him. When his hyung didn’t answer, Kyuhyun looked back. Sungmin was glaring at him. “What? It’s not like they won’t fit.”

Sungmin puffed up his cheeks in an irritated manner that Kyuhyun found incredibly cute.

“It’s not fair!” Sungmin shouted, pointing a finger at the younger boy. “How did you get so tall! You used to be shorter than me!”

Kyuhyun burst out laughing, “Um, puberty?” he said, catching his breath.

Sungmin hit Kyuhyun in mock anger. “Oh, shut up.”

Kyuhyun laughed at his hyung’s cuteness. He threw an arm over the shorter boy’s shoulders and used his hand to bring his head closer. “You’re so cute noona!” Kyuhyun announced, kissing him loudly on the cheek.

“Eww! Kyuhyun! That’s gross!” Sungmin yelled pushing away from the taller boy and whipping his cheek angrily. Kyuhyun doubled over laughing.

He was still laughing as he opened his closet door and threw Sungmin a casual t-shirt and a pair of shorts to wear, and grabbed his own clothes.

Sungmin wasted no time stripping out of his clothes.

Kyuhyun’s eyes skimmed over the older boy’s pale back.

At first look, you wouldn’t think Sungmin would be ‘muscular’ in any way, but Kyuhyun knew that Sungmin's taken martial arts since a young age, resulting in taut muscles along his back, arms and abs.

Kyuhyun remembers how shocked he was the first time he saw the older boy’s figure (The had gone swimming together for the first time, and Sungmin was very shy.) He was amazingly skinny without looking anorectic, with lightly defined muscles. He remembers complaining with Ahra that Sungmin looked to good for one person. Sungmin laughed at them.

“Kyuhyun?” Sungmin snapped his fingers in front of the younger boys face, “You’re spacing out again! Hurry up and change!”

“Oh! Right!” Kyuhyun snapped out of his daze and was about to unbutton his shirt.

“Um… could you leave hyung?”

The older boy raised an eyebrow at Kyuhyun but left the room nonetheless.

When Kyuhyun finished, he went down stairs to find Sungmin.

“Hyung?”

“I’m in the basement!” Sungmin replied loudly.

Kyuhyun finds Sungmin setting up his PS@ downstairs (It’s what Kyuhyun considered his game room, since all his equipment wouldn’t fit in his small room. No one used the basement anyways, so it was fine.)

“What are you doing?” he asked curiously when Sungmin started pulling out different equipment.

“Let’s play DDR.” Sungmin says grinning.

“Didn’t you want to go out?”

“Nah, let’s play instead.”

In all honesty, Kyuhyun didn’t like Dance Dance Revolution. He always lost. It was a game Sungmin would play with his sister or her friends when they were over (Sungmin was very close to his sister, somehow it really bothered him.)

“Please Kyu?” Sungmin looked at him with large puppy eyes and Kyuhyun lost his resolve. He sighed in defeat.

“Oaky, fine.” Sungmin let out a happy squeal and started the game.

Sungmin stayed over that night, like he did many other times before.

Kyuhyun doesn’t know when he started getting self-conscious in front of the other boy, but he knows it wasn’t like this before.

He opens his eyes and looks at Sungmin's sleeping face. He feels Sungmin's arms and legs wrapped around his body. They’ve always shared a bed, but never before has Kyuhyun thought of it as intimate.

He sucks in a scared breath and pulled the smaller boy closer to him.

“Hyung.” He says in barely a whisper. “What am I going to do?”
