Normally, I'd name a list of movies that I'm looking forward to, and my reasons for each. But looking over the season's slate, I realized that I'm much more certain of what I will not be seeing, and why. So, I give you

The most notable Fall/Winter movies I’m least interested in seeing:

Defiance - It’s World War II, and Daniel Craig and a bunch

Oooh, oooh, I have a nomination. The Boy In The Striped Pajamas, based on the the most glurgeful YA novel I think I've ever read. Starring an insipid boy child with a lisp (at least, if they stay true to the novel) whose father is an SS officer and moves the family to "Authwithz", where our young protaganist is immediately jealous of the boy he befriends who gets to wear striped pajamas all the time. The trailer manages to make the movie look slightly more intelligent than the book, but they would have to change the entire plot of the novel if the main kid is to be anything other than borderline mentally disabled, since he spends most of the story puzzling over the funny peculiarities of all the people in striped pajamas behind the fence
