Location location location...

Its all about location! I have to start doing some more exciting things, I want to start eating at new locations and exploring DC. I started looking for some new restaurants and have tried two of them... If there are any really good places you have been to in the NoVA area that you think I would like feel free to let me know, I really want to try

I am totally in for the whitewater rafting and the camping (I've been talking about the rafting for years).
Loray Caverns is a bit of a let down - of course I saw it in middle school...
What is the Aveda institute?

Any interest in bungee jumping?

Afghani food, when done right, is fucking *amazing*. Highly recommend. :)

Other than that, I have no DC recommendations for you, for obvious reasons! Though I will say, if you get a chance, you might want to try to find a Tibetan restaurant. They do some amazing things with vegetables, my God.

I'll add another interesting place I saw on Yelp yesterday: Kabob Bazaar, in Arlington. It's near Clarendon, a little far, but I certainly wouldn't mind trying it once. Actually there are a lot of interesting restaurants around there.

Have you thought about sharing your comments on Yelp? I might start...

Hmm, until the day I emailed the suggestions I hadnt really looked at Yelp, but it might be a good idea, especially since I am veg and will give reviews that I would actually like to see...

I like food, and I'm not too picky. I know my work schedule often prohibits it, but I wouldn't mind tagging along sometime to one of those restaurants if I am able.

I would be interested in whitewater rafting or the camping/cabin. My family used to go camping and rent cabins a lot when I was young. I also went whitewater rafting with my coworkers last year. I'll let you know if we are going to do it again this year.

you should say what you like sometimes... i can never tell with you if you go to restaurants i like cause i want to go or cause you actually like the food...
