Puter problems

I need puter help (among other things). I've been trying to burn a full CD for about 2 days now. I tried to DL Nero, but it said it dosen't work with Windows 98. I AM running Windows XP. Sooooo thinking that was the problem, I tried to reconfigure some stuffs. My software program says I am running XP

Do you have a nero disc,or are DL ing it online? I was having problems with Nero before and went to the website for a patch,it worked for me.

Aye. I found it on download.com. They have a free 60 day full version trial for it.
