I have an essay due on Monday. I have to compare and contrast SOMETHING. Has to be interesting enough to where I would want to write 1000 words about it and not want to poke my eyes out. Its for my English class. Someone give me a kick ass idea. Please. Pretty please??

i've always hated comparing and contrasting things. Other than haikus this is the most usless assignment ever. If you could further elaborate on what exactly you have to compare and contrast i could provide you with a suitable topic.

The topic is of my choice. It can be anything. I was going to compare the Iraq War to Vietnam, but couldn't find enough unbiased sources. It hink I am going to compare Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka to Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka. Damn. That sounds dirty.....

Sounds like a good comparison. But can you find any unbiased sources on this argument either? Another hotly debated topic.

I found a ton of stuff on Wikipedia that compares both movies to the book and points out the diffrences in all three. Very interesting. From what I have read the Tim Burton version is more closely based on the book than the Gene Wilder movie. I really need to read the book.... the book was once banned. hehehe
