Battle was always more complicated than it needed to be, really. Almost every single person on the team could just go up and beat things to death, but it never worked out that way- Sure, Luke and Guy would just go in slashing, and the Colonel would just Fonic Arte everything into a pulp, but Tear and Natalia always wanted to use strategy, and Jade and Guy at least were inclined to agree half the time.
And so that had led to the strategy they were currently using against these monsters. Natalia was powering everyone up, and they were using a hit-and-run strategy. But that was boring, and Anise was tired of battling.
So instead, once Natalia buffed her up the next time... Anise used something a little more flashy.

Jade was the first one to speak up. "...Anise."
"Yes, Colonel~?" Anise jumped off of Tokunaga, brushing herself off now that the enemies had been pulverized.
Jade sighed and pushed up his glasses. "Really, no one minds you using interesting artes, but... Well, Guy, you explain."
Guy sighed himself and then rubbed the back of his head. "Well, it's mostly just- You know, you're always telling us not to waste Gald, and then you go ahead and drop twenty thousand of it on these guys and spend who knows how much more on fireworks. You know? Just a little confusing."
Anise just smiled sweetly. "Oh, you guys are so stuck-up about Gald~ Don't worry about it, 'k? I won't bug you about wasting it anymore~"
The rest of the group smiled as well and moved on, chatting amongst themselves about Anise's ridiculous Artes. Anise waited until they were all gone...
...And then moved back, pulling the gigantic coins out of the fallen monsters' heads.
...Um. That didn't actually happen, before anyone asks.
