I just started brooklyn college's first "FUCK BUSH" facebook group. I'm so excited.

This means i'm the administrator of two groups: FUCK BUSH and "LGBTQ (and Straight Allies Too!)" I love being a shit-starter.

First Black Congresswoman; first Black woman to run for President. I saw a movie about her three months ago, and she was amazing. And she went to both Brooklyn College and Columbia University :) She spoke her mind, and fought for women and minorities. I still want to buy a Chisholm shirt. (Read more... )

It really pains me to think that at this very moment, while I'm safe and content in my home in New York City, there are millions of people in Southeast Asia right now whose lives have been forever ruined because they lost their loved ones in the earthquake and tsunamis. EDIT: lol the WHOLE point of this entry was to tell you guys that my digital camera, which i couldnt turn on for 5 months since the sliding lens/on-off mechanism broke off, could have been working this whole time. you see, i thought that the sliding lens thing activated something electrical which turned the camera on. nope. turns out that it just ( Read more... )
