i just came back from youth leadership workshop (aka catholic camp) at marymount and i had the best time i have ever had my whole life. making new friends, getting to know old aquaintances, getting closer to old friends, getting to see into the minds of people i had never met before and letting them do the same towards me...amazing ( Read more... )

You just wait for Search. You think this was an experience, it's nothing compared to the love, compassion, and trust you will learn on Search weekend. My favorite quote.... "Remember in the darkness what you saw in the light". Whenever you're feeling down and out, and you just can't seem to grip anything, remember YLW, and when you make it, remember Search. Remember that natural high, and remember, above all, that God is always there for you to open up his heart and his arms to you. All you have to do is ask.

I didn't write about my experiance b/c I am still like whoa! When I got to my grandpa's house yesterday and my mom lefft, I just started crying because I was so overwhelmed. I don't know, but I felt so in touch with God and my spiritualit and...everything. I want to cry now, because thinking about the last four days gives me chills. I want tog et invited back so bad next year. I am going to make mr. fernandez make me a leader, because that would rock so much. I can't wait for search, and I want to sign up for NCYC. anyone else want to ?
