anyway, this isn't the time to ask "why" (except insofar as the why means a concrete mathematical operation of general utility), so get rid of all that.

Right now, I should be considering the marginal utility of:
* working on my chops
* working on my cheat sheet
* working on my understanding

...and do the one that is most useful.
