getting back on Twitter?

A lot of people in the Data Science world seem to be on Twitter. And I think it's true of techy people in general, at least the sort of techy people who are into Free Culture type things

I've been thinking of getting back into Twitter as well, as soon as I have a smartphone and I can assure myself that it won't interfere with language immersion or the shitload of side-projects I'm finding myself in. At that point, I'll probably look to you for suggestions on data scientists to follow.

Data scientists and regular scientists too. There are lots of biologists that I follow, and especially computational biology, microbiology and human genetics people. I get a lot out of twitter, professionally. You get the benefits of networking as from a blog but without the time commitment.
