I have noticed that while this analogy tends to be accurate, it really only holds true for about 80% of people.

I'm growing roots if they grow, and I'm planting seeds if I find a nice field to plow.

I don't know what to do about the 20% that this doesn't work for.

It's scary, there isn't someone out there for everyone. Love exists in abundance, but it's not always a two way street. And even when love is mutual, it's not the same as having a working relationship. Which is sad, we make it so complicated with our words and our cultures, our likes and dislikes.

It makes me long for when we were animals and if we liked each other, and we both smelled right, that was it. No grand ideas, no planning, no notion of the future, and really also no choice. I was lucky if there was even one female who I liked and smelled right on the planet, and there was no need to prove our commitment to each other. Every day we chose to be together, we both had the power to leave at any time. Yeah.

Anyway, this is unhelpful, I guess the other 20% should keep using Okcupid and hope for the best. It's really quite good now.
