Plans for my little trip up north are going very smoothly. My mom, a second grade teacher, is on Summer break and will be driving me to Crater Lake, Oregon on Wednesday, Aug. 6th. I'll arrive late that evening and meet up with Adam who is now aprox. 2 weeks ahead of schedule. He broke his daily record of miles walked, up to 35 miles! He amazes me.

What will happen if you move to Arizona and you and Adam don’t get along? From what it seems (and what you’ve said) you guys have a great relationship when its over the phone or through emails, but in person it is different. It would just really suck if you moved there and it didn’t work and then what do you have to fall back on without the coffee shop?

He took a chance on me moving somewhere he knew no one and had nothing established because he loved me, I don't see any risk worth taking more than that. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, though we've both agreed to put our greatest efforts forward to making sure we don't repeat history. We've gone through a lot with eachother and we've reached a point where we're ready to make this sort of commitment. I never planned on having this cafe forever, and selling it has always been in the back of mind long before Adam came into the picture. I have a scholarship for school and have for some time now. I think I'm both stable and mature enough to know what's best for me and my future.

you were there for me when I needed someone after having gone through a really rough patch in our relationship; I can see why you'd be concerned. I just have never taken any chances on life where the outcome could essentially prove to be beneficial to me, and I just think it's about time that I do. Yeah, it's scary for me, but Santa Maria's not going anywhere, and I'm tired of not going anywhere myself.
