Someone please tell me not to go to Mardi Growl at Stray Rescue today.  I would be going under the guise of offering to volunteer for dog walking, when I know I would be looking for a Grover friend.  And I think a crowd the size they are expecting may be a bit overwhelming for Grover.  So, I would go alone.  And adoptions are half off today

So true -- and I did volunteer for dog walking. Maybe that will cure me for a bit.

I just know he's happier when he's with another canine pal -- although I could be anthropomorphizing. Perhaps more play dates are in order.

i do the same thing re: anthropomorphizing. fen is so happy when another dog is around but all things considered, he has a pretty sweet life being an only dog too. we should definitely get them together for play dates.

I know I'm spoiled because Grover only sheds as much as I do -- a bit less, actually. The dirt is a good point though.
