Hey now, not even a "hope your apartment didn't fall down on you"? XD

Anyways, you can probably expect a 4th at some point. I'm going to Tokyo for Obon wheeee. /crosses fingers for no big earthquakes. So I may have something to write about there.

And if not that, I have other things to write about, it's just very reminiscent of the month or two prior to coming to Japan.

Ok, and I'm annoyed with my upstairs neighbors fat-a$$es banging around. I'm paranoid now that the shaking is another freakin earthquake. >.

I totally didn't feel anything. Probably a good thing. I need more sleep.

But yeah. Considering Japan's system only goes up to like 7...it was a big one.

6.6 is pretty strong. I think 7.9 is the biggest I've experienced, but a 6.6 might make your butt clench.

Yah, the main area was 6.6, where I was it was only around a 4. It was still enough to rattle stuff around and it felt like someone was shaking my bed/apartment back and forth, like to wake you up. Was really unnerving feeling.

7.9 though?! Really? That's a massive earthquake. That's about as powerful as the one they predict for sometime in the next 50 years.

It didn't seem like that big of a deal when it happened. It was in November 2002, I think. Google the Denali Earthquake if you're curious. It would have likely killed people and caused a bunch of damage if it hadn't been so deep, and closer to a population center.
