I think this is the logical end to the discussion we've been having about executive power, no?  The right to make judgements about who deserves to live and die independent of due process of law certainly smacks of claiming the divine right to me

Since when do "academic discussion" and anything involving the Bush administration exist in the same sentence? It has becom quite clear to me, now that this wire-tapping game of his entered my own newsroom, that the president has no intention of discussing anything with anyone.
