I knew about this since the first time I had ever heard of JK Rowling, seeing as how I'm a big geek about cheesy 80's horror movies. It's just recently that someone had asked me about this asking if there was any connection or if Rowling may have taken anything from it. Honestly the only resemblance to Rowling's Potter is that he's a Sorcerer and his name is Harry Potter.

Troll was pretty bad. And if anything JK did a major improvement to it. I doubt anything real will come of it. I was just reminded of it and thought I'd post. It's one of the things I secretly giggle about when I hear anything about Harry Potter.
