The memes have invaded my brain

So, mini-guybles was talking to me about things he had he had seen on his iPad (which is useful to keep him away from us at stupid o’clock on a Saturday morning). He amuses himself with YouTube videos of - as far as I understand it - other people playing Jurassic Park, plus random bits of Lego Ninjago.

However, one sentence brought me hastily into

There's a lot of stuff to keep kids entranced on YouTube but there is also an awful lot to keep your kids away from. Do you use YouTube Kids? You can set a timer on it and a passcode, so that you keep some fragment of control (eg we allow 4 x 15 minute turns per child per day).

Admittedly if you need to input the passcode then you need to wake up just enough to be able to do that, but thats not been too much of a hardship from our perspective.
