if you haven't already, read Tropic Of Cancer by Henry Miller. I think you'll really love it.

and you have a friend named Donnie!?!? I would die to be friends with him just for his name because Donnie Darko changed my life

Well, I do have a friend named Donny, but the Donnie I'm referring to is my dog...

Well it was vague in the entry, for all i know, Donnie could've been your brother or chauffeur.

BUT that is even better, because i have this personal affinity with dogs and DONNIE is such a kick ass name for a dog. That is cute

He's a jack-russel terrier. And an all-brown one at that. Cutest dog on the planet.

Yeah, my best friend named his cat Leo, after guess-who. Interestingly enough, Leo's a girl...
