I just found out I will be unable to attend Berzerker this year, because I have to fly to Taiwan and Japan for some very important business meetings. Let me know any equipment needs you may have and I'll contact McKana or my father and try to arrange things ( Read more... )

Damn. Sorry to hear this.

BTW, I see that 2007 Pennsic is a week earlier. Will we be moving Berzerker up a week too? I think the traditional date will cause an overlap.

I'll probably have to rethink the Berzerker date plan. The whole point of the last plan was to give me at least 1 weekend to recover after Berzerker. So I expect that the 2007 Berzerker will be July 19-22.

Has this become more firm? We made our hotel reservation for the weekend of July 28, 2007. We'd reserved the earlier weekend for this year, and lost our room when it ended up being the later weekend.

No. Lots of people plan for this 8 months in advance. But maybe I will do something in the UP in late September.

i am sorry to hear that... but i gotta tell you-
1) 24 foot tall exoskeleton is pretty damn cool!
2) i vote for the godzilla idea too!
3) and that you have shown yet again what an awesome friend you really are, by not letting the fact of being disappointed that you cannot go spoil it for your friends by offering to help them...that's pretty damn cool if you ask me!
i hope that it works out for you, i am positive you will find a way to either make up for it or make it work another way...good luck!
