it was in the middle of the night sunday... while i was there, i tried to stop complete chaos from breaking out. in addition, i observed that your hot was trying to tell me something; there were three blinking dots on the display. did you get said blinking dots taken care of?

It may have been saying "there are huge numbers of autumn leaves in my filter unit". But I just cleaned the filter and fixed the cover.

Since the American cultural invasion of the UK continues to strengthen its grip with trick&treat on All Hallows Eve, I'm delighted to see that you'll be celebrating an English holiday by setting off fireworks on Guy Fawkes Night!

Pity I'll miss it, I'm not flying in until after the weekend (but only to Chicago, so still rather far away).

We're heading down to Florida after Windycon (and then I'm heading back up to RSNA in Chicago) and will be there around Thanksgiving. It always amuses me to see Christmas decorations in the bright and warm Floridian sunshine....

Well, if you need a place to have Thanksgiving dinner.... I'll be hosting a 4 day long party from Thursday the 23rd through the 26th. Last year I served more than 1 million calories, eventually.
