Sunday Party

May 6, being the first Sunday of the month, I will have a party. Being close to May 5, the only Mexican holiday I know of, I will prepare a Mexican feast. Dinner at 7-10PM. Mexican food is easy to prepare in large quantities, so come hungry!

My tamales take 2 days to cook. Is it possible to make tamales in a pressure cooker?

Why do your tamales take 2 days to cook? The most mine ever took, even in a huge stock pot was like 4 hours...

I use a huge stock pot, 2 steamer trays, 1 corn husk per tamale. 36 hours later they are still too raw to eat. They taste great after a couple of days, though.

The only thing odd is mine are all vegetarian, with vegetable shortening, cheese and vegetable fillings.
