Yeah, I'm so sorry I missed you guys' party. I was actually rather mad at myself for missing yours as well as a few others, but at a certain point I realized I was in a state inappropriate to arrive at a party (and probably inappropriate for going out in public). It might be okay to get that way while at a party if others are along for the ride, but one certainly should not show up to a party that way.
