[The Fansuwoth turns on to reveal Kallen on the futon, lying down on her stomach with her elbows propped up and chin cupped by her hands. She seems rather relaxed unlike her last broadcast if her smile is any indication.]Listen, I don't usually introduce someone right in front of this outdated device, but I think I'll make an exception just this

[It's true enough, he supposes. Pretty much anyone he feels he could possibly miss is already in Ukiyo. Even Ichiru. ...Although, he does miss that damn ill-tempered horse, and napping in the stables.]

...Good luck, then. For when you return.

[A brief pause.]
I wish you luck, too. For whatever you have to deal with in the future.

Right. ...Thanks.

-- Oh! I remember what you told me about your brother. I actually met him recently.

Oh?

He got really upset when I ranted about the cherry blossoms a while ago.

They bear a very significant memory to him, within his lifetime. [For both of us.]

[Sighing, she brings up a hand to massage her neck, closing her eyes for a brief moment before opening them to glance at Zero. There is uneasiness creeping in her tone.]
I apologized to him about it. After all, I was just upset over something unrelated to the flowers.

[Or maybe he is. Ichiru does tend to be a total jerk at times, although, it's more a personal sentiment (well, maybe for Yuuki, Kaito, and Yagari, too. Damn). He doesn't keep an eye on his twin's behavior towards others 24/7, after all.
He lets out a breath, leaning back in his seat, focusing on the screen again.]
How are you, now?
[OOC: Did we want to assume they had their spar, back after her previous post?]

How come?
[This is where she tries to suppress as much curiosity as possible; the last thing she wants is to catch Zero off-guard, saying her words as delicately as possible.]
Hm? Oh, I'm okay at the moment. Pretty much in a good mood right now.

He regards her for several moments longer, the silence thicker than before. The look in his pale eyes a visibly a touch sharper, yet the emotion beneath is questionable. His focus then redirects once again.]
Because the way he would spend the rest of his life was permanently changed by the first instance of that memory. [another stretch of silence.] Just as it would mine.

For the cherry blossoms to really impact someone so much no matter what... well, I knew they symbolize something important, but--
[The only symbolisms Kallen knew that associate with the blossoms are nature, love, and the end of a war.]

They were indirectly involved. That's all.
[Involved only with how it happened to be in the dead of winter, and as a result of a pureblood going mad. He doesn't hate the blossoms themselves, really. Only the painfully bitter nostalgia that stirs within his thoughts.
He exhales silently.]
...Don't worry about it, Kallen. It's fine.

[The cherry blossoms certainly affected Kallen, except in her case, it involved two people under the tree, one of them being the man she loves, the other she considers her rival.
Bringing up a hand to massage the back of her neck (to think of that incident again seriously irritates her), she exhales sharply, her expression softening a little.]
If you say so, Zero.

[He does say so, yep. And he's glad to shift the conversation in a different direction, now.]
It's good to hear you're feeling better, then.
