 Quick.

[A pretty girl with dark long hair framing her pale features pops up onto the screen. Eyes searching she's in front of a stand, a large chocolate strawberry cake sitting behind her on an elegant platter. She's sincere in her urgency, dark gaze searching as she speaks.]

What's the best way to earn some extra money fast?

You have two options as I see it.

One, charge for extracurricular services outside your normal position for compensation in cake.

Two, sleep with the baker in return for cake.

Oh...wait...was that two options or one....

what is this even... bloodypawn May 12 2011, 08:10:18 UTC
[did he really just...]

...Seriously, Ichiru?

He just wanted your attention. And to harass Yuuki of course. devouredtwin May 12 2011, 11:44:59 UTC
Zero~~~♥

Well it's better than sleeping with someone for money, isn't it? It makes it almost like a date! [Just feed her the damn cake, Zero.]

[A little exasperated. Annoyed. Something like that. ....And obviously it's better than her sleeping with someone for money, but that's not the point.]

I'd like to think that bribing her isn't necessary for a date. She can live without the cake for once.

It isn't bribery. Do you honestly not know how this sort of thing works?

[Ichiru sighs. His brother is such a failure at this. It's no wonder the girl ran off with someone else back home.]

If a guy is interested or likes a girl, the best way to win her affections is to court her. Part of that actually includes paying attention to her wants and desires that she would never think of asking from you--and providing them without motive other than for her happiness.

Here's an obvious example of something that might work with this girl. If a guy was interested in her--it's an easy purchase to make in the attempt to win her affections.

[Buy her the cake, Zero.]

She'll probably have several cakes by the end of the day from various suitors desiring to win her attention.

[He just sighs, though still a little annoyed (not to mention incredulous) by the fact that Ichiru is doing this. Okay, so maybe he's never done the whole date thing, or wanted to even bother courting a girl. He's had no reason or desire to. That doesn't make this any less irritating

I get what you're saying, Ichiru, but I'm not asking for tips or lessons. Just mind your own business, for once.

[Which is exactly the reaction he was expecting. So predictable,Zero. Still, troubling that he was just brushing it off.]

But Zero is my business. If Zero's not happy, I'm not happy. [Unless it was him that made Zero not happy of course. But lets not bring that up.]

Things don't stay if you don't make an effort to specifically keep them.

[Ichiru says that, and yet, when was the last time Zero did say he was happy? ...and if his twin truly does mean that, then certainly neither of them could have been happy on that one night last year. Isn't that right?

And yet...]

Have I said anything like that, recently? I can make my own decisions, you know.

[His gaze shifts, brows knitting for a moment. A more quieted tone, even if a melancholy thread lingers around to tie his words together. It adds a soft light to his eyes and tugs at one corner of his mouth in a way that puts even more distance to them than just the Fansuwoth.]

... Do you really think I'd let this go so easily, now, after all this time here, Ichiru?

[Neither of them truly wanted that to happen. Ichiru had done his best to keep Zero out of it entirely. He'd even...hesitated on giving the blood to Yuuki for Zero's sake. In the end, he hadn't been nearly strong enough and he was lucky that he'd had enough strength to get to Zero in order to complete the fragmentation.]

Do you really expect me to believe that when you say it?

[Really, Zero. The situation here might have changed, but you haven't. You have to learn to love yourself before you can truly love another. Someone who doesn't feel deserving of love will never obtain it.]

You aren't the type to lack doubt.

Serious answers only please.

That was a serious answer. [Really, if you were smart you'd have his brother wrapped around your finger.]

Then you should have known that I wouldn't do something like that.

Then the lack funds for cake is something you shouldn't whine about.

I'm not whining. It was just an honest question.
