[The feed starting, however unintentional, with Yuuki bending forward before a window. Clasping at her chest she shakes her head, disbelief fleeting across her expression. She inhales but the breath catches, stopping in her throat. Pain fills her eyes as much as horror.]

She can't have--she wouldn't. All of a sudden her presence just---

[She hears the footsteps, the scent familiar even from within Zero's apartment leaking in to alert her to the presence of her friend. After the ordeal, once content that she was calm-- calmer, at least, Zero had walked her to the living room area, where she sipped a glass of hot chocolate.

With a glance toward the kitchen, where Zero currently is for the moment she numbly rises. Feet carrying her toward the door, it's in a sort of daze that she opens it up, before clearing her throat enough to speak.]

Kallen...

[After finally locating the apartment, she stands in front of the doorway, only to then see Yuuki behind the door. A concerned glance is very noticeable on Kallen's face as she takes one step forward.]

Hey.

[Just a small greeting, short and to the point.]

Mind if I come inside?

[Cleaning what he can of the kitchen- it doesn't take too much effort, at least. The glass fortunately has not been reduced to fine powdery crystals, so that's a start. - he dumps another pan-full of shards into the garbage.]

It's okay.

[Makes his way to where Yuuki stands, a hand on her shoulder before they step aside to let Kallen in.]

Just watch your step, that's all.

[He turns to close the door, glancing to the surrounding area and the floor upon speaking.]

[With a curt nod, she lets herself in, carefully watching her steps so her feet won't accidentally step on shards of glass.]

I can't believe all this had happened.

[He considers the remark, of the two things it can mean.

His voice comes calm and quiet, though he knows Yuuki aches. He knows she's close with Kallen, and would be honest. Even if not, he isn't sure what can be used as an excuse for the damage to the apartment.]

Juri... Yuuki's mother, was murdered when Yuuki was a young child. She was here in Ukiyo for a very brief time, until just today. [pauses] With the disappearance of the bracelets, Yuuki's reaction caused the damage you're seeing.

[Destruction that derived from grief, all from a loss of an important loved one. She gives Yuuki a small glance before looking back at Zero, eyes widening in shock.]

I- ... I'm so sorry to hear that.

[Taking a breath, there's a measure of discomfort. She's uncertain what to say, especially in lieu of learning that the chaos for the destruction of the apartment was actually Yuuki's own fault, however unintentional.

She forces a smile that comes nowhere near touching her eyes. Her words, however, are sincere, at least.]

Sorry. The feed must have shocked and surprised everyone. I'm calmer, now. [She watches Kallen, though, crimson tinted eyes searching her reaction. She wants her friend to at least trust that she won't do anything that might hurt her, while there.]

Well... it was pretty shocking to see, yeah.

[She certainly haven't seen anything like that before, even though she knows her friend is a vampire. The smile reassures her if only a bit.]

And that's good. Still, I can see why you'd be upset.
