[He's out of breath by the time he's done twisting and flipping out of Ed's grasp. He did everything he could to keep the small device away from his brother and safe. Despite it's ability to turn on completely at random, it was useful, Ed would regret seeing it broken later.]

[He's yelling now. He hates yelling. See that serious face Ed, that means it's serious business time.]

[ NO! He will not calm down! He is fucking pissed. He is a girl. He is- Okay, yeah that face Al gives him makes Ed pause. It probably would not be best to test his brother's patience right now. Still, even though he lowers his hands, an annoyed look forms on his own features. ]

You're telling me to be calm? Look at me, Al!

[His free hand waves frantically in front of Ed.]

I dunno. [ Exasperation, and he looks down at his hands. This is ridiculous. He doesn't want to be like this. He wants his body back. [ There's a pause as he looks up at Al again. Something akin to fright flickers across his expression, even as he sets his jaw. ] Al...

[The word is said awkwardly as it rolls off his tongue, and he's not exactly sure if he wants to know Naruto can turn into a girl. He barely knows most of Ed's new friends here, but they all seem to possess an array of interesting powers. As Edward looks up from his hands and at him a second time, he smiles a bit more reassuringly.]

It'll be ok, Brother. Whatever is causing this we'll figure it out and reverse it.

Some ninja thing. It's not like alchemy at all.

[ Distractedly. He clearly doesn't want to talk about Naruto right now (though the other boy has been on his mind so much since their conversation the other night). He's... a bit scared, but he won't admit to it. What if he's stuck like this? They can't use alchemy here and who knows how long this "curse" or whatever will last. And there's his tattoo he has to think of to. His promise to Al that he has to keep. ]

Yeah... [ The sleeves of his shirt are too long, his shorts nearly falling off his hips. He's fiddling with the cuffs, looking up at Al through his hair (he still needs to have his brother braid it), uncertainty still vivid. ] You think the library'll have something on this?

Why don't you go and find Kiyoha, I can walk with you if you like or I can head to library ahead of you and start doing some research.

[He kept his voice as calm as he possibly could, as nervous and worried as he was it wouldn't do them any good if both of them continued to freak out over things. He gives Edward a reassuring squeeze to his shoulder.]

[ Al's reassurance, steady and certain like he's always been, the rock Ed's always needed, makes him manage a bit of a smile followed by a nod. He should be stronger, after all. It's not right for the little brother to be the stronger of the two. ]

Right. Go find what you can, Al. [ Reaches out to return the touch to Al's shoulders, even giving them a similar squeeze. ] I'll contact you when she's done helping me?

[He agrees as Ed reaches out to return the squeeze. A gentle pat is given to his brother's hand before he pulls away and begins to head down the hall towards the library. He stops before he gets to the stare, laughs to himself and then pauses to comment.]

It's probably a good thing I didn't have time to cut your hair yet, Brother!

[Teasing? Oh you betcha! Al knows better than to linger and he's down the stairs and out of sight before Edward can really do anything about it.]

[ The shout follows Al down the hall as he disappears around a corner, thus leaving Ed to stew in his anger for a few minutes before he too heads out to the hall and out towards Shakuraku.
