[Disheveled, still in her night gown. Her long, mahogany hair is untamed, yet to have even been brushed. It's the middle of the night, yet she seems wide awake, if disorientated. Two small hands gripping the device she lifts it up close to her face, staring into it anxiously.
Please. Someone please be up.
Clear, brown eyes focused , she speaks

Clicking the fansuwoth off, she pulls a light cloak down from upon the wall and wraps the silk, blue material around her petite frame. Another gift from a customer and one she's thankful, for.
Being a vampire has it's advantages...
On silent feet she walks toward her door, opening it up before peeking out. No one, as expected. Her senses, so sharp and sensitive are easy to puck up on the life signs of others. Slipping out of Jisei when needed really has become habit. Silent and swift, she's up and out of Jisei in no time. It's fortunate, she thinks, as she moves quietly through the night, that her destination isn't far.
Upon his doorstep, her hand lifts. Fingers fisting she raps lightly upon the door. It's an unexpected visit...but she's more than sure that Zero will welcome her in.]

Such a fool, though. Sneaking out so often as she does... Of course, that isn't to say he's exactly annoyed by the fact. It'd be a different story if she's caught.
Setting his book down, he slips off the bed and makes his way to answer the door. ]
Trying to surprise me?
[he looks down upon her, lightly amused.]

Not even willing to throw a shirt on to answer the door, hmm.
Though it's just for her. Then again, she has a feeling he wouldn't care even if it was a stranger.
Tossing back her hood, long, mahogany hair spills out in a cascading wave, and her hands find purchase upon the slender curve of her hips. Surprise him, is it?]
I wish I could. You spoil everything, with that sixth sense of yours.

Would you rather I pretend?
[Teasing. His gaze lingers on the cloak she has on, watching the way her hair softly tumbles from its hood.
Stepping back, he holds the door for her to come inside]
Not that you're without such an ability, either...

Heh. [The sound is amused, and she simply smiles] Even so I'm always impressed and troubled by it.

The look he gives is almost incredulous, however, although his reply is less serious. ]
Shouldn't you be more concerned with possibly being punished for leaving your house so late?
[There's nothing wrong with being able to foresee some of her behavior, you know. It's being caught by the house owners that he'd rather her be more aware of, even if they both sneak around more often than they likely should.
Nevertheless, she's here, now, so it's moot. He begins heading back to his room.]

He really is still here. And she hasn't left him alone again. His heart beat, steady and constant, vibrates within her ears. It's a comforting melody. An assurance that he's here right beside her.
I'm so glad, Zero. She's not the one who can leave first. Fingers tightening, her knuckles harden, turned white. Relief flows through her, spreading through the tips of her fingers to her toes.
I didn't leave you again. I came back.]

Just how long was it, for her?
Returning to Ukiyo is overwhelming. After experiencing it for himself, it especially reinstated the differences, stirring up a bittersweet cognizance of what is and what is not, and the reminder of all what he needs to not focus on. ...so, how will it be, for her?
A slight dip of his head. He brings his hands up to cover hers, a thumb softly brushing over her knuckles. ]

Is it crazy, Zero? [Everything about this place is maddening. The premise of the world is worse than a sick joke, and the household heads terrible. Yet she barely thinks about those things. Her memories from home verses here collide in a confusing array of emotions that all collide with one another. Yet even despite that all she can this is--]
I don't mind being here in this place, with you.

Yet, it does. It does feel comfortable like this; it's exactly as she says, and were she not here, life in this strange place would be far different. But she is, and at some point, he could no longer deny how a sort-of peace had begun to soak through his skin to burrow deep into his every bone and vein, heart wholly enveloped. The desire to fight back faintly lingers, still (with the I don't deserve this and those how can I be yours?), to resist, however it's been too many months, now... Who is he to deny all that has happened?
Still, he's more than aware of the responsibilities he has - that they both have - at home. Yet, with there being nothing that either of them can do, is there anything else to do, here, but greedily indulge, ( ... )

I just wanted to visit, and see you with my own eyes in person.
[It's nicer like this, than over the fansuwoth, isn't it, Zero?]
I also thought if we were to speak of home, it would be easier in person, than through the distance of the communicator.

He nods as well, exhaling quietly as he presses his lips to her forehead.]
Probably safer, too.
[Who knows how protected the network is.
Almost reluctantly, he pulls back enough to take her hand, then continues on towards his room. In spite of all that she's said this far, he remains a bit curious.]
... How much time passed at home?
Reply
Several weeks. After my initial detainment within the Association it took time to attempt to speak to vampire society as a whole. [A short, weak, laugh, lifting her free hand to scratch the side of her cheek.]
Um...harder yet to find anyone willing to listen. But there are at least some, who, I know share the same desires as I do. [Some that are even familiar to Zero.]
Aidou-senpai, Touya-senpai and Shiki-senpai were all very supportive. [If her voice softens, as she mentions their names, it's because she's grateful. When none of society was even willing to give her a chance...they had stepped forward and surprised her. She makes a face as she continues, attempting to keep her small amount of irritation to herself.]
Also Maria-kun is there, too.

Only a simple nod in reaction to the names, in addition to agreeing with the former statement. If anything, to hear that Yuuki is aware of her position and even the challenges she'll face (even while this is only the beginning; the fact that she'll come face to face with more trying circumstances is inevitable) is a consolation. At the same time, however, for all of who she is, emotional or not, he can't say he's able to see her acting and believing otherwise, as if everything was under control.
A tip of his head as they sit at the edge of his bed, still holding her hand.]
And there still is a long way to go.
[...but again, there's nothing we can do about it, here. He pauses at the mention of that last name.]
...Kurenai?

I paid a visit to her house to ask if she might come. In the end, I hadn't been sure if she would or not.
[And she's still grateful for her presence there. Nothing will change that, of course. But really. Talk about one smooth girl...]

[Their interaction was more so complicated than anything. After all, it usually (maybe never, even) wasn't Maria he spoke to, but Shizuka. He doesn't particularly mind the girl, though. Ichiru is important to her, which stands for something.
Regardless, he's a little bemused. A crease to his brow as he focuses on Yuuki.]
...do you not like her?
