[ At first, the feed of the Fansuwoth rocks a little as it's turned on and then settled down onto a surface. Nothing but blurry fabric can be seen at first until the figure then moves back from it, sitting with her legs beneath her and her hands sitting in her lap. More noticebly for some, however, might be the pair of white ears on her head. ]

[ Have a bit of staring. Nene will never get used to you people. ] Whoa. She wasn't kidding about the ears...

My ears? [ Confused, she can't help but to make a curious face. ]

Aheh, sorry. I didn't mean to stare! But... you're really Momiji? Aya's servant? [ Might as well confirm some things up front, because she's kind of been thinking about that conversation for a while, now. ]

[wolfpatrol]

I'm-- [ Because it took a moment for her to really process that last word before she opened her mouth, which shut back again as her expression went from a look of surprise to one of annoyance. It's a feeling hardly restrained in her voice when she speaks. ]

Aya Shameimaru and I are colleagues. That woman -- I'm sorry, but what has she been telling you?

Uh. [ Whoops? Backpedaling a little. No way is she going to come out and say what she and Aya actually talked about, but she's starting to examine the similarities between herself and the wolf. ] Er, I didn't hear that from Aya, actually. [ Tiny lie. ] Do you know someone named Suika? She's an oni...

[wolfpatrol]

Suika Ibuki. [ A short nod. ] And what did she say, exactly?

Not much. Just a general description and all. She's the one that called you a servant, though. [ Stupid trolling oni, now Nene kind of looks like an idiot. ]

[wolfpatrol]

[ As sincere as Nene was, she couldn't stop herself from thinking that Aya still had some hand behind it. She knew Aya - always trying to rile her up or, apparently, talking so lighthearted about Momiji's position that people were calling her a...!

But she was going to keep that to herself. There's only a pause between Nene's explanation and before Momiji's own. ]

I work for Lord Tenma, the lord of the tengu society. Aya Shameimaru is one of my colleagues, but I work more with other white wolves like myself. I report to her only if Lord Tenma wishes me to - that is our relationship.

[network_hostess]

[ She considers that for a moment. ] Yours is the only name I got, so you must be pretty important, but I didn't know all the rest.

[wolfpatrol]

We've known each other for some time. We exchange words now and then when it pleases her to visit me. [ Because she can't deny that they do know each other... a little more than they would if Aya behaved. ]

[network_hostess]

[ A chuckle. ] You mean when she drops outta the sky? Heh. [ She can't wipe the fondness off her face at the thought. ]

I'm Nene, by the way. Nene Romanova. I've known Aya pretty much my whole time here.

[wolfpatrol]

[ While she doesn't smile as fondly as Nene, Momiji does smile and od her head when she says that. She knows about that well enough. ]

May I ask for how long that is?

[network_hostess]

God, um... [ It takes her a second because, honestly, time was easy to lose track of now that she wasn't freaking out every two weeks. ] A about nine months, now. Probably nowhere near as long as the others from your world, but... [ It was longer than she knew the women back in Megalocity. Wow. That just sort of hit her and she looked down. ]

[wolfpatrol]

[ Nine months? And they were both still here - though she didn't know if Aya had been there for exactly that long. Had the reporter been here even longer? ]

Nine months is a long time... do you know how much longer you have until your debt is paid?

[network_hostess]

Uh, I don't really have a clue. I only asked once, early on, and I got some stupidly vague answer, so I stopped bothering. [ She barely budgets anything, LIKE AN ADULT. ] With everything else that can go on, it's not high on my list of stuff to worry about.

[wolfpatrol]

[ That's a surprise to hear - she would've thought that repaying a debt would be pretty much up there, buuut... she didn't know this person. ]
