[Hinata's face is as bright pink as the flowers lushly patterned over her kimono. She tries to sit still and not fidget, but fails rather miserably at it. The angle and slightly unsteady nature of the view suggests someone else is holding the Fansuwoth and filming her.]
Um...I-I need some advice.
A-about clients.
[Her cheeks grow redder.]
I...I

[Kanji is just as red as she is, but he seems to have picked up on her reluctance more than anything else.]

I-It's okay, Kanji-san! They're not making me do anything, I promise!
I...I just have trouble keeping clients...um...
[She tries to find the right way to put it.]
...Interested?

[But he does calm down just a little and goes an even deeper red, mumbling into his shoulder.]
Why wouldn't people be interested anyway? I think you're plenty interesting.

[She blushes a little bit darker. She has a hard time thinking anyone would find her interesting, so it's a surprising thing to hear.]
...Um, thank you, Kanji-san.
Maybe my clients want something different than...me, though. Madam Abe said I should try to act natural, but I don't think it's working. [Acting natural for her tends to mean being tongue-tied and fiercely blushing.]

[Omg girl blushing at him?!!! Um um um what do]
Well, she ain't wrong. You gotta be true to yourself! If you're acting it won't feel right for nobody. Trust me; I know.

[A nod. Maybe that's true, but Hinata's spent a very long time trying to change and better herself. Maybe this is another kind of change she needs to make in herself, becoming more confident.]
Mm, I-I think I could be better, though. At least, better at talking about these things.

[He looks down awkwardly]
This kind of stuff... even talkin' about it is hard. But if you just work I'm sure you can get better at anything you want, Hinata-chan.
Reply
Mm, I-I understand that, but for now I'll keep trying with this.
[She smiles a little at his encouragement.]
You're right, it's hard to talk about. I-I think if I could just be more confident, it'd be easier.

[He really does, but isn't entirely sure how. Think! What would Souji do...
...well, being there and supportive would be kinda--not thinking about it. Nope. Kanji blushes at the trail of his thoughts, but doesn't say anything, still thinking hard. Finally he speaks!]
Well, uh, a lot of it has to come from in you, you know? If you don't really wanna get better, you ain't gonna. And having friends to be there and support you no matter what, even if you fall flat on your face, really helps too.
I could uh... We could-- I dunno if it will help, but havin' somebody to talk to helped me out. I had a guy like that. Whenever I needed to talk he was there to listen, and he even asked me to teach him. Pretty sure he didn't actually care if he knew how to make puppets or not, but he did it just for me; it was nice.

His offer makes her smile more gently, cheeks turning slightly pinker.]
Kanji-san, that's very nice of you. I-I'm still not good at just talking, but I can try.
Thank you.

[He fidgets a little, awkward now that the suggestion is out.]
I could come over and we could talk about... stuff. Um! Yeah, stuff.
