[Kanji had been busy with his own sewing over on the other side of the room but he perks up when Ishida starts talking, and looks rather sad, considering how well he knew her.]

Orihime-chan left? That's... I didn't get a chance to say goodbye.

[He flusters and stares for a moment.]

Uh... I dunno. I hadn't thought past what I've been doin'

[He flushes but can't stop the grin.] A hinamatsuri set. Well, the dolls for it, at least. I hadn't thought about if I was gonna make the stand and the props too.

[ Perhaps it's terrible of the President to, first thing, put that burden on the Vice President. It isn't as though he has no ideas, and certainly, he's very focused on this, if part of his enthusiasm is driven by a need to not think of -- well.

He's not thinking of it, but it's still a weight. Something he can't shake, not that easily. At least Tatsumi-kun's spirit is contagious -- if not contagious, inspiring. ]

I've finished the empress and I'm almost done with the emperor. Still plannin' on what animals for the rest of the dolls though.

Have you thought about the platforms? Rabbits might be cute. Though, there are a lot of positions to fill.

The empress is a rabbit. I made the emperor a dragon. I was thinking maybe something different for all of 'em.

And no, not yet. I wanted to work on the dolls first; that's what I'm best at.
