I think that this is appropriate and necessary for this character, so here it goes...

If you ever want to plot with Lithuania about him finding out: I'd be kind of interested in that, because Hungary turning out to be female still confuses him a great deal. And he'd probably just go along with the identity after some initial confusion, and can be silent as a grave. (and Nitori is kind of more Poland's, idk, Takatsuki would probably just click with Liet.)

I would have no problem with this since Takatsuki seems to be making friends with Poland/Poland is friends with Nitori. Here are my conditions:

- Please go into this realizing that Hungary's situation was a little different. Hungary was comically confused about anatomy, as I see it. Takatsuki is far from confused about how she wants to live her life.
- Let's get some CR with them going before we actually plot that. It would make the end result less awkward, I think.

Oh, I totally wouldn't want that to happen without CR beforehead. It's just an idea.
Secondly, from what I gathered, Lithuania never knew about the "it will grow" part. Teutonic only heard about it because he realized that it wasn't there. Lithuania just... always knew that Hungary was male. Until he came to the mansion, and the boy that he knew was suddenly a woman.

Okay, I just want to be really clear about anything and everything when plotting. :)

pffft I'm not going to lie, Hungary's back story confuses the hell out of me in that regard, because I'm not sure if I'm supposed to take it as her gender being fluid or what idk idk. That said, I can't wait for some CR and hopefully Liet's experiences with Hungary will make it interesting!

Knowing the character, I agree with you. However, here's the catch: there wouldn't be any plausible reason for her to do so unless Takatsuki was outed to Santana, so if you could wait for something like that to happen to start with that. And even then, please remember that using "it" OOCly is still unacceptable.

Ah, I just remembered to add something. OOCly includes in narration. I feel that that's appropriate to ask, since it's not necessary to Santana's characterization. So for example, if we were doing an action tag, I would still expect to see something like:
[Santana walked up to her/him/hir]

I absolutely understand/agree! I'm right with you there. :) So from your post, it sounds like one could look at Takatsuki and assume she's (using 'she' because you said you will be using that in narration) a boy? I'm just trying to be super clear on all of this because I hate the idea of offending anyone. D:

I'm sure Santana will find ways to offend that aren't even about gender. ;P

*waves hand in the air* I have a question since I'm obviously too fail to make the decision. Vivi usually addresses people as Mister or Miss so what would you prefer for Takatsuki?

I think that for IC purposes, Mister would be best. Like I said, 9/10 times it's safe to assume that your character would think she's a cisgendered male.

If it's all right with you, can I refer to Takatsuki as male OOC? I just... it's more comfortable for me because I have a lot of trans friends IRL and prefer to refer to them as the gender they identify with.

That's fine with me. :) I have my reasoning for using female pronouns and I will accept your reasoning for using male pronouns. If you want, I can make a mental note to use male pronouns when I'm threading with you/your characters?

You don't have to if it's any trouble, but I certainly wouldn't mind :) It's not a problem for me either way--your character, after all, not mine.

I was only thinking of how it might be confusing for one of us to be using male pronouns and the other to be using female pronouns throughout a thread or log. XD It's no trouble for me, so I don't mind.

And in all honesty I can't imagine a scenario in which any of my characters would find out, beyond Pendergast - he's hyper hyper sensitive to everything around him, so I'm sure he'd notice but he wouldn't bring it up (because he's a gentleman and that's rude :|).
