i just read an article on how a man went to court on behalf of his daughter to take the words " In god we trust" off of our currency. are you kidding me? whats with Americans now a days? i just cant believe it. now im all for the free religion thing. and hey if you believe your great ancestors were monkeys than more power to you. but this country

Taking "In God We Trust" off our currency is a ridiculous battle to be fighting, but the fact of the matter is that one thing this country was founded on was the separation of church and state. There is no reason to involve religion in the matter of government. The whole reason that anyone even left england to live here is to be able to practice religion free from oppression. Oppression that was dealt out by a government enter-twined with religious influence.
